upcoming "Brilliant Blend" Kansas ESOL, Bilingual, Migrant, Refugee
Education Conference in Wichita, June 4-6, 2003 is available on our KATESOL Web

There are lots of great reasons to attend this
conference, where Migrant
Education Directors from across the state will have their annual meeting and
there will be a lot of valuable information and resources from publishers as
well as from the State of Kansas Department of Education.

KATESOL
Spring Conference in Hays
The Keynote Address and the
Roundtable Discussion from the KATESOL Spring Conference in Hays are on
streaming video at http://www.fhsu.edu/katesol/video.htm.
There are already requests from out of state for copies of the videos to use in
ESOL teacher training seminars.
For those of you who
accepted free books from publishers at the KATESOL conference in Hays, please
remember to get your reviews written and sent to Howard Pollock, hpollock@ku.edu , for inclusion in the KATESOL Newsletter.
This is an important opportunity to share new knowledge with your colleagues
and peers at schools across the state.
